The Security Industry Association (SIA) announced details for its 2019 Securing New Ground (SNG) conference, which will be held Oct. 29-30, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt in New York, N.Y.

SNG is the SIA’s annual conference focused on security industry leadership. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas about topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and business trends about acquisitions, funding and purchasing.

“SNG is a top-tier executive networking program where security industry luminaries gather to dive deep into the business of security. We look forward to continuing to inspire leaders at SNG 2019 as we explore current and future trends, the potential of the industry and how the business is changing,” said Don Erickson, SIA’s CEO, in the announcement.

Hikvision was a participant and event sponsor for SNG 2018, which took place in Oct. 2018 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

SNG 2018 featured various networking opportunities, as well as educational sessions on cybersecurity and ways to reduce security concerns. Sessions included “Harnessing Cyber-Physical Security Technologies” and “Challenges for Today’s Security Industry Leaders.”
