Security Magazine Publishes Exclusive Interview with Jeffrey He About Partnerships, Cybersecurity and Cyber Vulnerabilities

December 8, 2017

Leading industry publication Security magazine published an exclusive interview with Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA Inc. and Hikvision Canada Inc.

In the article, He discusses cybersecurity and cyber vulnerabilities, the importance of partnerships, and Hikvision’s multi-faceted approach to combat cybersecurity threats.

“At Hikvision, we're committed to working as a team with all of our partners. And, effective cybersecurity defense necessitates a team approach. I think it's a good idea for end users to ask vendor partners directly about their philosophy and approach to cybersecurity. We are always happy to answer questions and to discuss our cybersecurity program,” said He in the interview.

He added that Hikvision offers numerous resources through the Hikvision Security Center, where end users can find information about third-party and internal testing, and third-party certifications. And, He reinforced that Hikvision has stepped up its cybersecurity efforts, including the recent hire of Chuck Davis as Hikvision’s new director of cybersecurity for North America, and the recent Hikvision cybersecurity road show in key Canadian cities in December of 2017.
