An article in Security Sales & Integration (SSI) announced that PSA Security Network has unveiled the educational lineup for its annual conference, PSA TEC 2019, being held March 11—14, 2019 in Denver. At the conference, Hikvision’s director of cybersecurity, Chuck Davis, will host a session on cybersecurity best practices and how to protect systems from vulnerabilities.

PSA Security Network annually hosts TEC, a conference that offers education and networking opportunities for system integrators and other industry professionals. According to the article, the 2019 event will “feature over 100 education sessions, workshops and certification trainings from industry-leading experts.”

“TEC is really one of the best kept secrets in our industry for any professional looking for a training and exhibit venue where they don’t get lost in the crowd. PSA TEC is all about building relationships and exchanging information with people who share the same challenges you do every day. Whether you are a business owner, technician, project manager, sales and marketing professional or operational support, there is training available to you at TEC that can make you better at your job,” said Kim Garcia, director of marketing for PSA, in the article.

On Tues., March 12, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., Davis will present the educational session, “Applied Cybersecurity: The Network, Your First and Most Important Line of Defense.” In it, he will provide cybersecurity best practices that integrators can use to improve security, and outline ways to protect systems from common vulnerabilities.

PSA TEC will feature multiple educational sessions, an exhibit hall, a vendor awards dinner, a networking reception, and certification sessions. Click here for more information about the conference.
