Introducing Hikvision’s 4K Ultra HD Camera Lineup, Featuring Models with ColorVu and AcuSense Technology

Hikvision is excited to introduce a lineup of 4K Ultra HD cameras that includes a range of models providing flexibility and distinctive features depending on your needs. All models excel at providing outstanding images in 4K resolution to help you see complete details. And multiple camera models come with additional features like ColorVu G2 and second generation AcuSense.

Hikvision’s 4K camera systems produce clear images with enhanced video quality facilitating better video analytics and video data. These 4K cameras have a horizontal display resolution of around 4,000 pixels (about 8 MP). That is four times higher resolution than standard HDTV 1080p, providing outstanding image quality and richer details. 4K cameras use H.265+ video compression technology to enhance camera features and reduce bandwidth usage and storage costs. H.265+ video compression technology offers three additional enhancements including:

  • Predictive Encoding
  • Noise Suppression
  • Flexible Bitrate Control

The 4K Ultra HD camera lineup includes models with ColorVu G2 and AcuSense technology. ColorVu technology illuminates darkness with 24/7 vivid full color imaging without using additional lighting or equipment. ColorVu provides full color surveillance footage at night enhancing safety and reducing risk. This boosts safety in dark hallways, building, campuses, and more.

ColorVu G2 4K models are coupled with AcuSense technology to detect humans and vehicles within the full color footage. Other 4K UHD models feature standalone second generation AcuSense technology to reduce false alarms, assist in reviewing forensic details at night, and to save time searching through video footage for faster identification. The AcuSense algorithm enhances human and vehicle filtering that reduces false alarms up to 90 percent.

Hikvision leads the industry offering a complete portfolio of 4K network cameras and network PTZs to use 4K technology in a variety of applications. With multiple 4K cameras from fixed to varifocal, and certain models featuring ColorVu and AcuSense, we have a model with outstanding 4K resolution to help you see every precise detail.

Hikvision’s 4K camera systems greatly improve applications in locations such as parking lots, stadiums, intersections, and other broad monitoring areas. View the product brochure to learn more about Hikvision’s 4K UHD camera lineup.
