Hikvision’s TurboHD Delivers Savings Using Tribrid Surveillance Technology

January 2, 2018

Hikvision’s TurboHD surveillance technology uses a unique “tribrid” technology to deliver client savings using a sophisticated combination of three powerful components for upgrading existing security systems.

Hikvision’s TurboHD HD-TVI (High Definition Transport Video Interface) is a new technology that upgrades analog video transmission to HD resolution via coaxial cables. Hikvision’s tribrid approach supports existing analog security cameras, adds HD-TVI high definition cameras, and upgrades systems to IP megapixel cameras.

TurboHD delivers savings to end users across verticals such as critical infrastructure, enterprise, education and retail, to name a few. “Hikvision’s TurboHD HD-TVI lineup lets retailers install our technology with their existing cable infrastructure, saving customers money while providing up to 5MP resolution on coaxial cables,” said Cliff Miller, Hikvision’s director of retail sales.
