Hikvision’s DarkFighterX PTZ Camera a Contender for SIA New Product Showcase Award at ISC West

April 9, 2018

Hikvision’s DarkfighterX Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) Speed Dome camera is a contender for the Security Industry Association's (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) award in the video surveillance camera category, and will be on display in the showcase area of the Sands Expo Las Vegas during this week’s ISC West 2018.

The DarkFighterX PTZ surveillance camera marks a significant step forward in low light color imaging for the video security market by achieving industry-leading 0.001 lux full-frame rate color images through the use of two sensors. Designed to mimic the human eye, the system fuses the content of two 2MP, 1/2.8-inch sensors to achieve a single low light image by reading color content with one sensor, while the second sensor reads luminance. The DarkFighterX PTZ camera system is designed for the most demanding low light color surveillance applications, whether airport, city center, critical infrastructure, or perimeter.

The NPS award was established in 1979 to recognize innovative products, services and solutions in the security industry, and the program is held every year at ISC West.

Check out Hikvision’s DarkFighterX at the showcase area in the Sands Expo, and visit Hikvision at booth #18037 for a full display of its technology offerings.

The NPS Awards Ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. on April 11 at the Lobby Stage.
