Hikvision UK & Ireland Announce Partnership with Brightsight Security Lab

Hikvision UK & Ireland announced a partnership with global, independent security lab, Brightsight, to help combat cybersecurity issues.


“Hikvision takes cybersecurity concerns with the utmost seriousness and takes action every day to ensure that our products are not only innovative, but meet the highest standards of cybersecurity best practices,” said Dr. Bin Wang, chief officer of Hikvision’s Network Information Security Laboratory and Network Security Department, in the Hikvision press release. “Brightsight is a well-known cybersecurity lab globally, and our partnership will help us to strengthen the cybersecurity of all of our products.”


Hikvision North America has also increased its cybersecurity resources for partners over the last year, putting in place a dedicated North American cybersecurity team, adding new cybersecurity resources such as the dedicated cybersecurity hotline, and opening the industry’s first Source Code Transparency Center.
