Hikvision Launches New Machine Vision Product: 29MP Area Scan Camera

Hikvision, a leading provider of artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics and other emerging technologies, and the world’s largest video surveillance manufacturer, has launched a new machine vision product, the 29MP area scan camera.

Hikvision’s MV-CH290-60GM CCD GigE Camera is a 29MP high resolution area scan camera that supports serial communication using RS-232 or RS-485. Its GigE interface allows for up to 300 feet of real-time, lossless video transmission with a single sensor and seamless ultra-high megapixel video. 

Hikvision’s machine vision line of products offer support for a wide range of industry accepted interfaces such as GigE and USB 3.0, ultra-high resolutions up to 29 megapixels, and super high frame rates up to 376 frames per second. Targeted for applications in verticals such as factories, manufacturing and automation, higher frame rates and varieties of resolution allow for customization to support business applications in these industries.

IMPORTANT! This model requires non-standard firmware. Do Not Install standard firmware (e.g. v.4.1.xx) on this model. Doing so will permanently damage your system. You must use custom firmware v.4.1.25 from the iDS-9632NXI-I8/16S product page.
