A surveillance system provided by Hikvision Europe helped secure Acquapark Onda Blu in Tortoreto, Italy, a water park with more than one million square feet of attractions.

Acquapark Onda Blu previously had an analog security system with only five cameras to cover the entire park. Italy-based Hikvision integrator Marco De Nicolais began with system upgrades to the existing cabling and data transportation infrastructure. The integrator installed 32 Hikvision DS-2CD2T42WD-I8 bullet security cameras to monitor the water slides, corridors leading to and from the water attractions, and entry/exit areas for the river.

The camera system was paired with two Hikvision NVRs equipped with 4k technology and connected with two 43-inch monitors. This allows monitoring of the entire system directly from a single station in live view and in video playback, according to the Hikvision case study.

Hikvision has a wide range of surveillance solutions that cater to the needs of specific verticals such as entertainment. To view Hikvision North America success stories, visit us online.
